  • What do a haircut and a rebrand have in common? Some of you who are long time followers may have noticed that I have been sporting a fairly drastic haircut of late. 💇‍♀️ After already deciding that I was done with colouring my hair, [a little daunting, as I knew I was getting more and more of those silver strands- something you don’t see a lot of 30 somethings walking around with] a fateful hair appointment earlier this year led to me confessing that I’d always wanted to have short hair, and my amazing hairdresser @catherinetaylorhair12 convincing me take the plunge. #yolo I have never had a haircut transform me like this one. I honestly felt like a new person, and somehow, out of all the hair styles I’ve had in my life (and I’ve had a few- I get bored with my hair very easily!) this bold look feels like the real me. Low maintenance, yet creative and a little bit quirky, I’ve never been one to ‘follow trends’ and my hair now just feels so ‘me’. But what does this all have to do with a rebrand you ask? Well, just like a drastic hair change, a business rebrand could be just the thing to make your business feel transformed and truly ‘you’. Sure, a new appearance will turn heads and get people talking, but it’s what it will do on the inside that really matters. A boost of confidence; a business that you are proud to show off. A clear vision- a new perspective, refined message- making sure you’re appealing to the right customers, and that they know exactly what your business stands for, and why they should work with you. And ultimately, a fresh start. Embracing change and ‘the real you’ behind your business can be the best way to spark new beginnings and growth. So if your brand is feeling a little stale, or doesn’t align with your business goals or messaging anymore, consider this a nudge to make the jump- it might be a confronting process, you may be thinking ‘what have I done’ halfway through, but trust me, if you find the right person to help you, a rebrand could just be the best thing you do in 2024!

  • I was privileged to spend some time last night with my beautiful clients from @belindamcgowanfoundation at a fundraising dinner for @hopehorizonstoowoomba. And I was reminded just how impactful it is hearing the stories behind brands. Your brand story is your WHY, the reason you do what you do, and it will also become the reason a customer will choose to do business with you, or support your organisation. If a person connects with your brand story emotionally, they are 1000% more likely to choose your business over a competitor. Just a little reminder as we start a new week. 😉
  • The mornings have certainly been 'hug your coffee' weather around my parts lately- and what better season to launch a coffee brand than wintry Saturday mornings watching your little humans run around a football field!
