Recognition Plus helps individuals and organisations recognise and celebrate people, relationships, experiences, and milestones in ways that build thriving brands and communities. Based in Toowoomba, they’re on a mission to make moments of recognition truly unforgettable.
When Chloe and Kirsty took over the long-standing Recognition Plus brand, they saw an opportunity to build on its legacy while making their own vibrant mark.
They recognised that the industry was largely transactional and masculine in tone, and wanted to inject heart, creativity, and meaning into it. Together, they set out to reshape Recognition Plus into something fresh and full of personality – a brand that celebrates the power of recognition to bring people and communities together.
Working with them to reimagine their visual identity, we focused on capturing that perfect blend of professional polish and joyful celebration. The new brand reflects their energy, passion, and drive – shifting Recognition Plus from a product-based business to a purpose-driven one centred on belonging, appreciation, and human connection.
The goal was to design a brand that feels as ahh-mazing as the recognition moments it represents – bright, confident, and full of life, yet still able to be taken seriously in a cut-throat industry.
The bold sans-serif logotype conveys confidence and reliability, while the playful confetti-inspired elements and handwritten accents bring warmth and spirit. The result is a visual identity that reflects Chloe and Kirsty’s infectious enthusiasm and genuine care for people, transforming Recognition Plus into a brand that’s impossible to forget – known, loved, and celebrated.
The Recognition Plus logo balances clarity and celebration. The apostrophe that makes up the ‘R’ in the brand mark represents the power of people celebrating people, combined with the plus sign, which also creates a celebration ‘spark’ and a focus target.
Playful confetti-inspired elements were designed to inject the brand’s personality – individuality, connection, and joy – coming together to symbolise the way Recognition Plus celebrates people and brands. Bold, yet fun, Recognition Plus means businesses, but will always be a flamingo in a flock of pigeons!
